Rules
The running of the competition, whether Same Sex or Mixed, will follow, where possible, The ESSDA rules.
Therefore, the competition will take the following format:
- Compulsory General Look round
- Compulsory Classification round/s
- Competition in the assigned Class
Classes: Levels
There are four classes/levels possible ranging from D to A. Here is a brief description for each class and the dances required for each level:
Age:
Adult is any dancer whose age is 18 and over (18+)
Senior is any dancer whose age is 40 and over (40+). In order to participate in the senior category each dancer, in a couple, must be over the age of 40.
Adjudicators:
The panel of adjudicators will be composed of one international judge and two judges living in Israel, thus an international panel of three adjudicators.
Rules:
All competitions will be guided by ESSDA (European Same Sex Dance Association) Rules. For further information please go to www.essda.eu

Judges
Eli Mizrahi
International Ballroom Dance judge, medalist and finalist in Ballroom dancing. Began his way as a dancer and performer with many famous Israeli companies such as" Biet Barbur" "Bat Sheva" and more. He learned dance around the globe with dance teachers in Holland, France, Italy and USA. He has comprehensive background in Ballet, Modern dance, Jazz and more. He lived in the U.S for several years and learned for his academic degree and finished as an engineer. He choreographed musicals for the lyric theater of Canada plays such as "Fiddler on the roof", "phantom of the opera" and others. He is the head judge for three seasons of Israelis "Strictly Come Dancing" version. Owner of his own dance studio "Eli Mizrahi Ballroom Dance Studio" for the past 25 years.
